Teaching Students How To Resolve Problems Without Physical and Verbal Aggression

We assume that children are taught social skills at home and
come to school ready to benefit from academic instruction.
The truth is that many students come from homes where they
are not taught how to get along with others and participate in a
group setting. They may strike other children, constantly
provoke and agitate others. They may have loud outbursts
during instruction or simply don’t know how to ask for
assistance from the teacher.
